Get To Know- Wireless Charging..!!

It is not secret that we all hate the cables and fragile connectors use to battery recharging. But all that is going away and thanks to modern technology, Wireless charging is becoming a thing and we are very close to saying good to all those cables.

What is Wireless Charging?

Wireless charging is the process of charging your phone without wires ( yeah, the sentence you just read is what it should be-charging with absolutely no wires).
But it is not the case you have to connect your wireless charger to a plug and to charge our phone you place your phone on the charging plate, it won't work until your phone is touching the surface so you don't have the freedom you thought you would have with wireless charging.
And that is a some very negative point about the wireless charging the very reason that is keeping us to completely switch from cables, The Range of charger is limited . Because there are time when i am on the phone talking to somebody but the battery is about to die. so what do i do? i go and put the charging cable in USB jack of the device and keep talking while it's charging.
That is what you can't do with those charging plates. And like every other there are some Pros and Cons of wireless charging.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  1. Convenience you can have it on you working desk, car dashboard, coffee shop and when you place you phone on charging plate.. BOOM it's charging..
  2. No more or not as much in use Micro USB slot because they are fragile and get in the way of making  a device more water and dust proof.

Cons

  1. It's expensive manufacturers just can't include a wireless charger in the box with out increasing the price.
  2. Inefficiency- not as fast as cable charging and make the device heat up .
  3. Limited Range as mentioned above
now after reading all that about wireless charging you might be wondering..

How does this works?

It is simple physics for those know a little physics or have studied it  in high school should understand it by the word "Electromagnetic Induction" and those who didn't get it i am going to explain.
As in the word "Electro" stands for Electricity and Magnetic for magnet now these things are much more related to each other than they seem. For Ex- A current carrying coil wrapped around an iron core is called electromagnet, because it uses Alternating Current(AC) Electricity to generate a fluctuating magnetic field. Reversing the situation and applying a magnetic field with fluctuating polarity will generate AC electricity this process is called Electromagnetic Induction. This is the basis of wireless Charging and is the same process of charging you electric toothbrush...

Standards of Wireless Charging

There are two main standards of wireless charging, while they both rely on a power transmission pad and a receiver either inside or attach to your device. but they don't wok with each other.

Qi

Backed by Wireless Power Consortium is by far the most popular among consumers right now.

PMA

Backed by Power Matters Alliance is likely to continue to gain support from corporate organisations and governments with their cloud based software feature that allows these entities to better manage theri wireless charging network

Rezence

Is yet another group backed by Alliance for Wireless Charging and their standards looks super exciting and promises to enable more convenient solutions by dramatically increased range and multiple wireless charging while maintaining the efficiency, the recently closed a standard consolidation deal with PMA..

And Google is backing up PMA and we all know that one day Google with rule the world PMA wins .

but no matter what we all agree on one thing the wireless charging is the thing of future and as soon as the fix the range problem with maintaining or increasing efficiency cables will become ancient..

if you have and questions related to this you can leave them in the comments section down below and i'll be happy to answer it and don't forget to share it who you think might benefit from this...
