You guys have probably heard a lot about this device till now .. i don't like to talk about the price of the device because prices tend to fluctuate .. but in this case i have to say it is 179USD (around 12000 INR)
which is and always will be a great deal..
if you look at the price and the specs you cannot find any negative points for this phone so to find out how Motorola managed to cut the price this low .. i am going to compare all the thing with it's elder brother the Moto X ..
Desgin or Hardware
- This first thing where Motorola saved bucks is in the packaging when you open box you are getting Device it self and USB cable for charging and data That's it no wall charger, no headphone no nothing..
- The design or the both devices are very similar both feel great in the hand just the Moto G is a little bit thicker .. and it also has the dimple on it's back that i love so much
Moto G 
Moto X - Moto maker from which we can personalize our device it's accent ,front ,back ,the boot up screen this is not available for Moto G . but it has a removable back so you can always change it..
- it has a slightly small screen of 4.5inch IPS display which is 0.2inches small that the Moto x which has 4.7inch AMOLED display.both of the displays have the same resolution 720x1280.
- talking about battery Moto G has a 2070mAh and the Moto X has 2200mAh of battery .but your Moto G can easily last for a day.

Specifications And Software
It is running nearly stock 4.3 jellybean..and has a Quad core 1.2GHz of processor and a Qualcomm snapdragon 400 chipset . Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM
these specs are way lower than the Moto X but in this price a Quad Core chip is pretty ridiculous ..and
perfomance is awesome too i was able to play some graphic intensive games which ran really smooth on this device .
when you browse the web you can tell that you are working with 1GB or RAM it is not unbearable some it takes some time to catch up when you zoom in or out...some time in launching apps but after launch you will not have any problems..
Colours on the display are a bit off aas compared to the Moto X but you can not notice the difference when you look only at the Moto G but when you look hat the huge difference on the price that's just something you got to love..
This phone does not have a X8 chip so there are few function missing that rely on X8 chip active notifications ,twist to the camera and active listening .no matter how loud you shout "OK Google" it will not respond .
The Moto G dos not have NFC and LTE ,this Device is made for the international market so LTE is not going to be a big problem
The Camera on the Moto G it has a 5 mega pixel shooter and it records videos 720p camera isretty good but if you rally want good pictures you can go for a camera for 179USD and it still might not take pictures better than the Moto G . if you remember the first nexus 7 to get the device in 199USD there was no camera at all ..

Basically what i am trying to say is Moto G is an incredible deal for a 179USD you cannot buy a better phone than this one.and when this device willget 4.4 Kitkat it is goingto perform even better because Kitkat can run smoothly on any low spec device.
