Rumor Mill...!!

Google Planning to End the Nexus Line

There is a awe-full hideous rumor rumor floating and roaming that Google is going to kill our beloved Nexus line in 2015 Let's talk about and see if it's probable or not probable..
An industry expert Eldar Murtazi tweeted " NEXUS LINE BY GOOGLE IS OVER IN 2015 ;) " he has got a pretty decent track record for leaking news.



Yes this line will be replaced by Play Edition devices ..So before you have a reaction like i had when i first heard of this news, i love my Nexus 5 and i surely will love the next Nexus..
But think of it as a business perspective.. So Google has to negotiate with partners to make these Nexus devices which usually sell relatively cheap as compared to other unlocked phones, the profit margin presumably is not very high ..

I don't think Google is making a lot of money out of this, they are more like reference phones for developers to use and to sow off to users their next generation operating system that is why Nexus devices get fast updates so that developers get the latest version of Android to develop app on..
Last year Google launched Google Play Edition phones which started with the Galaxy S4 and then the HTC one and other devices Those were just regular phones with Google's stock Android on it i have already done a Get To Know - Google Play Editions , so the link to that is at the bottom.

and Google has to do almost no work other than optimizing the software for the Play Edition devices the don't have to worry about the designs for the the devices of any thing other than the software . And a bit of other problems and as much i i hate to say this, i makes financial sense for Google.. But' Google doesn't always do what makes financial sense like the Google Glass they take the technology to the next level and keep pushing the limits.
We should not forget that Google just sold Motorola because it was not making any profits so may be just may Google has started to think about money..
