What's new in Pebble Steel...

There is a new smart watch in the market, it's better looking, it feels great in the hand, it's more fashionable,  It can go in black tie events and not stand out.. Yes, i am Talking about the Pebble's new flagship the Pebble Steel..
When you read or hear it's name "Pebble Steel" a lot of questions pop up . Like - Is it better than the previous Pebble smart watch?,  If yes, then in What ways?, does it costs more then the previous?, How is it different than the Pebble i already own..?
These are the questions i am going to answer in this post..

So the Pebble steel as you have seen in the reviews on YouTube or in any kind or commercials is the sexiest smart watch you can get right now and it raise of $100 in the price is only for the looks because, It's looks or the hardware is the biggest change you'll see when you compare it to the Pebble smart watch..  

Pebble Steel

Screen of the Pebble steel is the same size as the first Pebble, but it has less bezels which makes the screen looks bigger but it's not, it's same screen with same resolution, there is a slight change though it has the scratch resistance Gorilla Glass on top of it.
Button lay out is also same but they are made of metal in this case
It is obviously heavier because it is made of metal, it's buttons feel more rigid and on the loft bottom of the watch you got a LED notification light that lets you know when it's charging, speaking of charging Pebble Steel comes with a new charger it is magnetically more powerful than it previous one so doesn't come off but a slight touch a problem that we faced with the previous Pebble.



It still is water proof upto 5ATMs , you can install only 8 apps maximum..But The Pebble Steel has 8mb RAM double of what you have in the original Pebble..

Other than these Pebble steel is the same, same UI no new Steel specific apps it's is just a nicer more classy looking watch.

IF you are thinking of whether to upgrade from your old Pebble to the Steel, i would recommend not to do this because it is the same exact smart watch with a nice pair of clothes i say you should wait for the next upgrade with some major changes and it's coming soon.
But if you just have to have the Steel, just love it's looks cannot wait, you can just go ahead and buy it.
