If you are not familiar Oculus Rift is a virtual reality headset that gives you a full 3-D immersive view into the game, there is already an Oculus Rift out there but the one they were showing at CES was a little different ..
The one at CES had a new AMOLED 1080p display, since the display is right on your face 1080p is a big improvement and because it's just before your face you can go high as 2K, 4K, 8K, and still be able to notice the difference.. And this is not the only improvement .
Oculus VR has been working on reducing the blur and found a solution too, and they call it low persistence the blur effects are now eliminated..
well totally look like a nerd playing with the Oculus but, but who cares what people think if you can really has an experience like you are in the game..
the Oculus completely block your vision and if you play a game that's made for the VR the experience is amazing..
The way it tracks your head movement is also improved and that matters a lot cause if it get even a little bit disoriented it's easy to get sick of this thing..
the IR LEDs on the Oculus creates a 3-D pattern in space which are caught by an IR camera and that's how it know in what way you are moving your head or where the position of your head is..

Right Now Oculus is just limited to demos and and a few games like Team fortress 2 it's it's based on HDMIs and USBs so in theory it can work with your PC and even a console and a phone, and if it does both the things Oculus is going to be the biggest upgrade to the gaming world in 2014 ..
There are going to be some other improvements before releasing it for consumers like Oculus said at CES..
I really am excited for it an to play games like Call Of Duty:Ghosts on it that would be amazing..
