Get To Know-4K video...!!

By now you have must have heard 4K tossed around almost every where specially when CES is ON...
there are 4k TVs and cameras, i have already posted a Get To Know about 4K camera at CES link is down below at the bottom ,If you want to check it out..
Technically well there is not a whole lot to explain ,but there is a lot to it..

In terms of Resolution

It's a resolution basically like every other resolution it is measured in pixels starting at the smallest the average smart phones has a resolution of 1280x720 and we call it a 720p display ,your average laptop which has a slightly bigger display is somewhere around 1440x900 then you get up to the larger desktop displays which have a resolution around 1920x1080 ...4K displays are somewhere around 4000x2000 ..it is around that because there is not an exact standard for it.....
In a UHD TV the resolution is 3840x2160 that is a lot of pixels ,speaking about pixels there are more pixels in a 4K TV than there are seconds in 3 months ,so if are going to count all it's got to take a while.

In terms of Pixel Density (ppi)

we already know that the higher the pixel density of a display the batter it looks more clear and sharp it looks because thee are more pixels for you to look at to make the images look good,
this also depend on the distance you are viewing the item from..

Starting with the smart phone..if you are looking at a1280x720 couple inches from your face so you really need it to be high pixel density so the average smart phones has average pixel density of 300ppi...

A laptop since you use it further from your face you don't need that high of pixel density ,so if you are looking at a 15inch laptop with a screen resolution of 1440x900 ,you are looking at a pixel density of 120ppi which is good because it's not close to your face and you cannot really see all the pixels..

When you are looking at even bigger display like a 1080p 55inch TV you get a pixel density of 40ppi ,that seems low because we were just talking about 300ppi but sitting 10-20feet away from it you are never going to see any pixels at 40ppi so it's really high crisp resolution display but that's just 1080p..

as a kid or sometime in your life you must have walked up to your TV and see that Red ,Blue and Green pixels that is called the sub pixel matrix basically those are the colors that make up the images you see on your TV .In order to see that you have to get up and get a couple of inches away from your TV to see those pixels ..
But in 4K you are actually never be able to see that sub pixel matrix ,at 4K 55inch TV comes in over a 100ppi ,which means you can be inches from it like a laptop and still not see any pixels standing 5,8 or 10 feet away from a 4K TV it looks gorgeous ,It is almost below that level of looking through a window especially  when you look at a real nice 4K video ..

last year 4k TVs were expensive not $9000 or $10000 but a new car expensive $25000 or $3000 ..but now that's is not a big problem now,i have a link down at the bottom that will direct you to 4K TVs available at Amazon..
Shooting 4K was a not that common in the previous year but in my previous update about CES 2014 i have listed 4K shooting option available.. link is at the bottom..

and even if you don't have 4K display 4K video looks really good at a 1080p display ..that meas TV shows aren't 4k today but they will be in the near future..

i have a links down below if you want to watch a 4K video.. on YouTube or on Vimeo the amount of detail and quality of the video is awesome and if you want to watch 4K video at YouTube there is an option like 240p,360p,480p,720p,1080p there will be an option for 4k which will say show original, for higher than 1080p resolution..

Sub-pixel mtrix
