Google.Chrome Cast... Review (Part -1) ..!!

There are lot of cool things about this product, this is a simple product but it does have a lot of implications about the future of what Google is going to be focusing on, But basically..

What is Chrome Cast?

Chrome Cast is a Dongle that you plug into your TV via HDMI that turns it into a smart TV of sort and as the box actually says " THE EASIEST WAY TO WATCH ONLINE VIDEOS ON YOUR TV ", and i agree with that but you can see here the focus is on video but it does a bit more than just video as you will read below ..

What is in the Box?

Chrome Cast comes in a little convenient box and when you open it up inside on the left are all the instructions you need to set it for the first time and you only have to set it up once.. I got my donein literally about 2 minutes flat so it is pretty easy..

Aside from the Chrome Cast you get a USB cord for power a HDMI extender if you TV's HDMI port is hard to reach and a power brick which you only have to use if you can't get USB power from your TV and most of the TVs have powered USB ports any way this is not going to be the thing that everyone needs to you ..

What is in the box

The Chrome Cast it self small, it's just  a dongle obviously the HDMI is on one side to plug it in and USB in put for power and a little reset button on the other side ..

How to Setup Chrome Cast?  

You just plug the Chrome Cast in to the back of your regular TV not a Smart TV doesn't really matter into the HDMI port you hook it up in to the USB power Follow the 2 min setup guide and you are

How to use Chrome Cast?

My Chrome Cast has a name it's called "Shekhar's Chrome Cast" and is connected to my WiFi network called "Shekhar", so now every supported device that is also on the "Shekhar" network can see and cast to this Chrome Cast enabled TV so right now supported devices includes.. Every Android device, every iPad, every iPhone and every computer running Google Chrome ..Thanks to the Chrome cast chrome extension , i'll put the link down at the bottom ..

The Portable devices when your Chrome Cast is turned on you actually see a button on th top of the YouTube app the Google Play movies app, Google Play Music app and unfortunately those and Netflix and Pandora are the only apps the natively  support Chrome Cast , But since the API is out hopefully we'll see way more apps like Drop box.. showing up with this button ..

So press the Chrome Cast button on top of the app and choose your Chrome Cast TV and the media you are playing on your mobile device will now start to play on you TV ..

So your device is now Remote control for the media playing on you TV you can go to queue and add stuff to it you pause and play .. with a very very tiny delay between the button press and response..

you can even totally exit the app and do what ever else you want to do  on your device while the media continues to play on your TV .. Cause you don't have to have the app open ...

Hey guys it is hard to do this in one day i have lot more to say about the Chrome Cast .. and That will be a long review if i do it in one time .. probably exhaust you and me both while writing and reading so for now this is just the Part-1 Second part will be out tomorrow.. so come back tomorrow..
