in October last year ,2013 Nokia announced that they will be ending all developers support on 1/1/2014 the deadline has passed now and the Ovi store is not accepting any more apps..
Nokia tweeted the end or era..saying..
" that's it; we are officially closed ,thank you all for past years! "
in case you have missed the news,the dropped MeeGo and Symbian support means that developers will no longer be able to push new apps or updates in the Ovi store ,but they can still collect revenue from there apps ,and all currently available apps are still up for downloads ..
So , if you are interested in the Ovi store you can still download the already available apps, your phone is not just rendered , but may be,just may be it's time to jump the ship...
I have used C6-00 for almost a year and i loved the experience. i would love if somehow Nokia launches some other new awesome OS which would carry the Symbian name .. but i don't think that's going to happen...
